Here are other important information you may find useful.
- You are discouraged to bring your pillows and linens for infection control purposes.
- Hospital staff collects all empty food trays inside the room so please do not leave them outside.
- You are encouraged to leave all your valuables at home.
- Please keep your room locked especially at night time.
- The hospital cannot be held liable for anything lost during your stay.
- All incoming calls are free of charge while outgoing calls shall be charged accordingly.
- Ambulance services may be provided for a corresponding fee.

In moments when spiritual support is needed, Chong Hua Hospital can help you and your loved ones find comfort, peace, and strength.
- Upon request, the hospital can assist in arranging for a priest or minister to visit and provide pastoral care.
- For Catholic patients, services may include Holy Mass, Holy Communion, Anointing of the Sick, and prayers for the sick, along with other forms of spiritual guidance that support the patient’s overall well-being.
- The hospital can also help facilitate visits or coordination with ministers or spiritual leaders from other religious backgrounds.
- Requests may be accommodated either on a scheduled basis or through on-call coordination.
- Hospital staff can facilitate coordination with the assigned priest or spiritual leader and ensure that patients and their families are kept informed throughout the process.

Please note that all arrangements, including any stipend or offering, are coordinated directly between the patient’s family and the priest or spiritual leader. Chong Hua Hospital only serves as a facilitating partner in support of your spiritual care needs.
As part of our continuing ministry of care, Chong Hua Hospital extends support to families during times of loss through the Memorial Division of ABDCI. Families may seek assistance or coordination for memorial or thanksgiving services handled with dignity and compassion.

- Firearms should be surrendered and deposited to the Security Officer.
- Additional furniture, electronics and medical equipment brought from outside ARE NOT ALLOWED.
2. Pharmacy Information
- The Hospital Pharmacy is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is conveniently located in the lobby of Building AB, beside the main entrance of Chong Hua Hospital Cebu, and on the Upper Ground Floor of the Hospital Building/Lobby at Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue. Our professional pharmacy staff are available around the clock to assist you and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services in accordance with international standards.
- Your safety is our primary concern. Effective January 1, 2010, Chong Hua Hospital requires all parental/injectable medications to come from the hospital pharmacy and all parental/ injectable drugs bought outside may no longer be administered to the patient.
- An 18% discount on the regular price is given to all cash payments, and 8% discount to all medications upon full payment cash.
- Over-the-counter cash purchase will get 18% discount on the regular price.
- Non-over-the-counter inpatient medication will get 8% discount upon full cash payment on discharge accounts.
- The main objective of these policies is to ensure patient medication safety.
- All medications administered to inpatients must come from the hospital pharmacy, to avoid the use of fake, substandard or expired medicines.
- The hospital allows the use of herbal medications, as long as they comply with the requirements and provisions of the Traditional and Alternative Medicine Act of 1997 (R.A. 8423).
- The administration of your medication is done by the hospital's nursing staff. However, at the appropriate time and for certain medications (i.e. insulin), you will be taught and encouraged by your doctor, nurse and pharmacist to administer your medications yourself.
- The Chong Hua Hospital Pharmacy will not dispense controlled and regulated medications without the proper prescription.
- Injectable controlled drugs are dispensed for inpatients only.
- Only over-the-counter (OTC) medications are dispensed without a prescription.
