Chong Hua Hospital is looking to hire a dynamic Physical Therapist who will be is primarily responsible in the remediation of impairments and disabilities and the promotion of mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential of patients seeking rehabilitation therapy; s/he recommends and implements treatment plan through the use of exercise, massage, and other techniques based on established protocols and standards. S/He also participates in a comprehensive, multidisciplinary care plan and interventions which focuses on the total care of the individual along with medical staff and department leaders in rehab facility. Collaborates with medical staff and/or highly specialized personnel in the assessment and in the creation and implementation of tailored-fit intervention program.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Plans and implements appropriate treatment and rehabilitation program to caseload of clients or walk-in patients utilizing selected methods to achieve the desired treatment objectives and goals for patient rehabilitation which may include but are not limited to: therapeutic exercises and functional activities to promote muscle return, sensory re-education, muscle facilitation, perceptual-motor integration, activities of daily living and transfer training, community re-orientation, etc.Â
- Evaluates patient’s current physical condition to assess physical and/or psycho-social dysfunction, e.g. range of motion, muscle testing, sensory integration, perceptual abilities, equipment needs, etc.Â
- Collaborates with medical personnel and other highly specialized personnel in the creation and implementation of intervention that is customized for the specific need of the patient. Â
Qualifications
- A graduate of bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Â
- Valid license in Physical Therapy in the Philippine Regulatory Commission.  Â
- With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in Physical Therapy. Experience in hospital setting is preferred (either inpatient or outpatient sections).  Â
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus. Â
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and maintain effective professional relationships and/or partnerships.  Â
- Possess a current certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) training. Â
- Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications. Â
- Good communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required; ability to communicate well in English is an advantage.Â
