Chong Hua Hospital is hiring an experienced and dynamic HR Manager for Total Rewards who will be responsible for the oversight, design, and management of the total compensation and benefits administration programs and policies for Chong Hua Hospital making the organization’s Compensations and Benefits structure competitive and equitable in the market. S/he will monitor salary structures, establish cost controls to balance staffing needs, establish total rewards system for the organization through the application of modern-day HR platforms for rewards, implement procedures and programs that are in alignment with the organization’s overall strategic objectives and ultimately prioritize a competitive employee value proposition both for existing and potential employees.

S/He also participates in continuous performance improvement and quality compliance and implementation activities that best benefit the stakeholders.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Planning 

  • Defines and clarifies the philosophy of performance management and the processes required to execute. 

  • Defines, develops, and oversees execution of the closed-loop processes required to manage the strategy. 

  • Provides general strategic oversight, identifying core KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for company performance, performing competitor analysis and translating specific company performance metrics into actionable strategies. 

  • Ensures that operational processes owned and run by other functional executives or leaders are linked to the strategy 

  • Strategizes with top level management on business trends, innovations, and benchmarking.    

  • Serves as a member of executive committee, s/he participates in making key business decisions and organizational change. 

Analysis and Recommendations 

  • Gathers important insights into company performance, health, and other factors to provide a distinct summary for company leaders to influence core decisions. 

  • Analyzes trends in market demands and understands the key and critical challenges facing the healthcare industry; measures efficiency level of current patient services and systems; recommends best practices to top management and medical leadership based on established skills and knowledge from wealth of experience in the Nursing Service or benchmarks from external organizations; ensures that all activities are aligned with the organization’s business direction. 

  • Identifies different opportunities for individual personnel development, talent development or company development to help better align the company with its strategic goals. 

  • Coordinates with different departments within the company and the company’s internal leadership to plan, strategize and execute specific goals and identify unique opportunities for growth or company expansion. 

  • Reviews and evaluates existing policies and procedures to ensure that all nursing services, programs, and initiatives in the division are aligned with the organization’s business direction and goals. Recommends changes or updates in these policies as needed to align with Chong Hua’s business goals. 

Performance Management  

  • Participates in the planning and implementation of performance management program and in communicating this with different section/unit leaders.  

  • Monitors the compliance of employee movement and regularization through collaboration with other HR leaders; ensures that all rewards related to employee movement and regularization are communicated and implemented by the respective department/section/ unit leader.

  • With a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any four-year course preferably in Business Administration, or four plus years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • With at least 10 years of relevant work experience and at least 3 years of experience in managerial or leadership role.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Possesses leadership qualities to aid in building, maintaining, and elevating relationships with Chong Hua Hospital internal and external stakeholders and drive the achievement of business strategies and results. Qualities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required.
