CANCER CENTER
The Cancer Center caters to the diagnosis and treatment of malignancies and hematologic disorders. The facility is equipped with the best team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals who are well-trained and proficiently skilled to work with cancer patients. Chemotherapeutic medications are expertly handled and aseptically compounded by experienced pharmacists in a controlled environment utilizing the biosafety cabinet.
The Cancer Center offers a wide range of services, including cancer screening and prevention, diagnostic testing, and chemotherapy. Support services such as nutrition counseling, psychological support, and pain management are also offered to help patients cope with the physical, mental and emotional challenges of cancer treatment.
Nurses are trained in basic chemotherapy course by the Philippine Oncology Nurses’ Association (PONA) and have an in-house training for continuing education for the latest trends in cancer treatment. The team is also involved in research studies and clinical trials that aim to develop new cancer therapies and is the only institution to offer a fellowship training program in medical oncology.

To achieve this, the department stays updated with state-of-the-art imaging equipment which includes:
- 512-slice CT Scan
- 1.5-Tesla MRI Scanners
- Digital, Computed, and Portable Radiography
- Digital Mammography and Tomosynthesis
- Positron-Emission Tomography – Computed Tomography Units
- Ultrasound
All results are stored in a unified Radiology Information – Picture Archiving and Communications system which offers cross-disciplinary image and information management to allow correlation between different modalities, in different time periods, accessible throughout the entire hospital.
To provide comprehensive imaging evaluation, the department has 21 consultants with local and international training. All of our consultant staff are fellows of the Philippine College of Radiology, and are also recognized as fellows in their different subspecialties such as the Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Society of the Philippines, Ultrasound Society of the Philippines and Philippine Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, to name a few, accompanied by the competent and board certified radiologic technologists and nurses in their different units.
