Chong Hua Hospital is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Strategy Management & Execution Specialist who is responsible for leading and supporting strategic initiatives that align with the organization’s long-term goals. S/he requires a strong understanding of strategic planning, execution, and performance monitoring, combined with expertise in agile project management. Additionally, s/he closely collaborates with cross-functional teams, the senior leadership, and departments to drive the implementation of strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Strategy Management and Execution Manager to develop and refine the organization’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conducts market and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
- Develops and maintains strategic roadmaps that outline the organization’s long-term goals, and the initiatives required to achieve them.
- Facilitates the planning and execution of strategic projects using agile methodologies, ensuring flexibility, rapid delivery, and continuous improvement as well as facilitates Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure effective project execution.
- Manages project backlogs, prioritizes tasks, and ensure the team remains focused on high-impact activities.
- Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to check the progress of strategic initiatives.
- Collaborates with department heads and project teams to ensure strategic initiatives are well-coordinated and aligned with overall business objectives.
- Develops and implements change management strategies to support the successful adoption of strategic initiatives across the organization.
- Provides support to teams and individuals during times of organizational change, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
- May be assigned in a project that aims to improve specific areas, working independently or with a cross-functional team. May be tasked to make necessary recommendations on performance of team members or cross-functional team member.
- Prepares and analyses pertinent data as required by his/her immediate superior or the management.
- Regularly reports on the status of strategic projects to SMED Manager, providing insights on progress, risks, and necessary adjustments.
- Utilizes data-driven approaches to assess the effectiveness of strategies and recommend course corrections as needed.
- Responsible for the review and streamlining of processes and policies to continuously improve the quality of service in the department.
- Leads or directs the team or creates functional team to identify performance gaps and formulate strategic interventions to continuously improve on identified areas for improvement, when required
- Oversees the development and placement of safety strategies and continuous quality improvement of service initiatives in the department.
Qualifications
- A graduate of bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or any related field.
- With at least five (5) years of relevant work experience in strategic planning, business planning and analysis, project management or any related field.
- With background in managing projects using agile methodologies.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
- Certified Agile Project Manager (e.g., PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster) is highly preferred.
- Strategic Management certification (e.g., SMP, ASP) is a plus.
- Strong experience in end-to-end implementation of strategic planning processes and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required.
