Chong Hua Hospital is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager execution of general accounting processes, and the seamless implementation of financial budgeting, forecasting and analysis functions of the organization, all with the goal of providing timely and fairly accurate financial reports, and relevant business insights so that top management can formulate an effective strategy and steer the organization towards a progressive direction. This role oversees the Institutional Group Services team, ensuring financial sustainability, compliance, and accurate financial performance tracking while supporting strategic business goals for business growth.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Financial Management, e.g. ensures fairly accurate monthly financial statements; ensures accurate and timely posting of accounts, invoices, account payments, etc.; investigates notable deviations from established parameters for each department, such as expenses or accounts delinquency, etc. collaborates with the department head to implement protocols and standards to address the gap; analyzes daily bank reconciliations and placements, as applicable and ensures that accounts are adequately funded to cover daily disbursements.

  • Oversee Tax Compliance and Inventory Management Teams.

  • Establishes and manages cost-control measures for the organization aligned with the business direction and the department’s goals and objectives.

  • Measures its level of efficiency and makes recommendations for its continuous improvement. Communicates this and other similar cost-control activities across the organization.

  • Resolves issues and concerns in relation to quality of service in the department or any relevant concerns escalated by department personnel in relation to completion of tasks or service delivery.

  • Provides analysis on staffing plan based on historical data ensuring all staffing needs are met consistently; recommends changes and/or adjustments on the staffing plan or its implementation based on data analysis.

  • Ensures that the approved Staffing monitoring system is implemented and is running efficiently; recommends changes when necessary.

  • May be tasked to lead cross-functional team to deliver projects or special tasks designed to improve specific areas of services in the hospital such as, but not limited to, process improvement, review of policies, etc.

  • Communicates job expectations to subordinates.

  • Responsible for the review and streamlining of processes and policies to continuously improve the quality of service in the department.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. A post-graduate certificate or other relevant certification is preferred.

  • With relevant work experience including at least 2 years in managerial or leadership role, may it be in General Accounting, Internal Audit and Business Processes, Inventory Control Processes and Standards, Financial Forecasting, Budgeting and Analysis, and Strategic Management.

  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

  • Possesses leadership qualities to aid in building, maintaining, and elevating relationships with Chong Hua Hospital internal and external stakeholders and drive the achievement of business strategies and results.

  • Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.

  • Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required
