Chong Hua Hospital is looking to hire a Change Management Specialist who will spearhead the implementation of the Change Management policy and procedures of Chong Hua Hospital. S/he will be responsible in driving and supporting organizational change initiatives by managing human, technical, and process-related aspects of change. S/he will work closely with cross-functional teams (CFT) to ensure changes are successfully adopted and/or implemented. Also, the Change Management Specialist is expected to drive the effective and smooth transition to change including stakeholder acceptance and readiness.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintains the effective and efficient execution of his/her tasks and responsibilities by ensuring consistent compliance with existing protocols, guidelines, processes, procedures, standards, etc. of the division, department, unit, and hospital.

  • Facilitates the conduct of CFTs discussion during the implementation of the change management procedure.

  • Drives culture change to instill focus risk-based thinking and management

  • Supports the organization in the achievement of the overall business directives and goals through process development and systems creation in coordination with various leaders and cross functional teams.

  • May be assigned in a project that aims to improve specific areas, working independently or with a cross-functional team. May be tasked to make necessary recommendations on performance of team members or cross-functional team member.

  • Prepares and analyses pertinent data as required by his/her immediate superior or the management.

  • Recommends changes and updates in processes, policies, procedures or standards in the department to improve quality of service, like Gap Analysis, Process Review, Policy-Making, etc.

  • Serves as subject-matter expert, internal consultant, and change champion who will lead CFTs; coaches and mentors change owners throughout the implementation of change

  • Conduct impact analyses, assess people readiness, and identify and manage stakeholders throughout the change process.

  • Guides employee actions through one’s consistent practice and implementation of department’s policies, procedures, methods and guidelines.

  • May be tasked to lead cross-functional team to deliver projects or special tasks designed to improve specific areas of services in the hospital such as, but not limited to, process improvement, review of policies, etc.

  • Responsible for the review and streamlining of processes and policies to continuously improve the quality of service in the department.

  • Leads or directs the team or creates functional team to identify performance gaps and formulate strategic interventions to continuously improve on identified areas for improvement, when required

  • Oversees the development and placement of safety strategies and continuous quality improvement of service initiatives in the department.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or requested by immediate superior or management from time to time.

  • A graduate of bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Economics or related field of study

  • With at least five (5) years of relevant work experience in Change Management

  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

  • Exposure to an ISO certified environment is an advantage

  • Extensive experience in the use of change management and project management practices

  • A proven ability to conduct research, data analysis, and project analysis

  • High ethical standards and an uncompromising sense of integrity

  • Attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.

  • Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.

  • Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required.
