Chong Hua Hospital Employees Lead Coastal Cleanup to Fight Climate Change

As a leader in health and wellness in the Visayas and Mindanao, Chong Hua Hospital believes that our responsibility extends beyond our hospital walls.
On September 20, 2025, our team joined forces for the International Coastal Cleanup Day at the RORO Port in Cordova, Cebu.
This year, our efforts were particularly focused on the theme, “Clean Seas Against the Climate Crisis.”
They spent the morning meticulously clearing the shoreline of plastic, wrappers, and other debris that threaten marine life and contribute to global warming.
By cleaning our coastline, we are helping the ocean do its job as one of our planet’s most important carbon sinks, directly supporting the fight against the climate crisis.
The collected waste was carefully sorted, with a focus on recycling to reduce landfill impact.
This event is a testament to our core values, showing that our leadership in healthcare goes hand-in-hand with our dedication to a sustainable and clean environment.
We are proud to be part of a global movement, proving that local action can create a wave of positive change.
