Chong Hua Hospital is looking to hire an HR Employee Relations and Engagement Specialist who provides organization-wide HR services, programs, strategies, and primary point of contact in explaining and providing advice to employees about company and governmental rules, regulations, and procedures, and need for compliance.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Grievance and Discipline Handling:
Manage and oversee the grievance procedure, ensuring that grievances are addressed promptly and impartially.
Assist in managing the disciplinary process, from investigation to resolution, ensuring fairness and consistency in enforcement.
Prepare reports on employee relations matters and assist with decision-making in disciplinary actions.
Investigate and document workplace complaints, grievances, or misconduct in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Provide guidance to employees and managers on employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace behavior.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases, including investigations, resolutions, and outcomes.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on employee relations trends, issues, and resolutions.
Ensure all records are confidential, in compliance with data protection laws, and accessible when needed for audits or legal purposes.
Employee Engagement:
Design, implement, and monitor employee engagement programs and activities that align with company culture and goals (e.g., team-building activities, end-of-year party, family day, etc.).
Create and manage an annual engagement calendar of events in coordination with other stakeholders.
Plan, organize, and manage logistics for activities such as company gatherings, recognition events, or deep-dive sessions.
Work with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders for smooth execution.
Lead execution from conceptualization through delivery and post-event evaluation.
Track key engagement metrics (e.g., participation rates, survey scores) and prepare reports for leadership.
Serve as a primary coordinator for internal HR communications and announcements.
Draft and disseminate engaging messages about programs, policies, and culture initiatives.
Recommend improvements based on data insights to strengthen engagement efforts.
Qualifications
Graduate of BS/BA Psychology or equivalent.
At least five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources. Experiences working in HR Employee Relations and Engagement is an ultimate advantage; as well as Certifications in Human Resources or Employee Relations.
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws (e.g., Labor Code, DOLE regulations, etc.) and employee rights.
Above average computer and systems knowledge (MS Office, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information; Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
