Chong Hua Hospital is looking to hire a Company Driver who is responsible for delivering services that requires leg work or transport from the hospital to a specific destination or vice-versa.  S/He drives the hospital service vehicle and provides transport to people as well as various materials for delivery to their destinations, safely and promptly.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drives the hospital service vehicle safely to transport employees/staff to and from the hospital to pre-determined destination when necessary.   

  • Plan efficient routes, ensures aptness of schedule and location in transporting documents, materials or employees/staff.  

  • Maintains a high quality of service and care; ensuring the safety of all passengers in the service vehicle. 

  • Follows endorsed schedules and special assignments as needed. 

  • May be requested to train and mentor new Drivers, and other applicable personnel, and tasked to provide performance assessment of staff.  

  • Checks and inspects the service vehicle before and after using. 

  • Monitors the working condition of the vehicle; documents repairs / maintenance work needed and follows up on the requisition for any parts / equipment 

  • Performs maintenance and sanitation of the vehicle 

  • Performs the necessary endorsements / turn-over of the vehicle’s keys t

  • Ensures compliance with approved methods / standards of driving; does not incur traffic violations, whether in the fulfillment of his duties or

  • Builds, maintains and elevates relationships with CHH internal and external stakeholders by consistently practicing effective customer service.    

  • Assists the employees in loading and unloading of materials, equipment, etc.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or requested by immediate superior or management from time to time. 

  • Has completed at least two (2) years of college education. 

  • With at least two (2) years of relevant experience.  

  • Possess a current valid driver’s license restriction code 1234 or 1238 from the Land Transportation Office (LTO). 

  • Knowledgeable with traffic rules and regulations.  

  • Working knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance. 

  • Possess excellent patient care knowledge and ability.
