Benevola de Cebu Foundation Inc. (BDCFI) Extends Relief Assistance to Paknaan Fire Victims in Mandaue City

Benevola de Cebu Foundation Inc. (BDCFI) donated relief goods and clothing items on January 29, 2026 to 110 fire-affected individuals in Barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City.

The relief packs included essential food supplies and hygiene, and other personal care items while the clothing donations contained tops and bottoms for men and women, and other assorted apparel for kids.

In his message, BDCFI Executive Director Wilhelm Wade Eusores shared words of support with the evacuees. He also affirmed that the foundation will continue its initiatives in supporting disaster-affected communities.

Barangay Captain Marisa Fe Tecling-Ulgasan, on the other hand, expressed her gratitude for the foundation’s immediate response to their call for donations. She also highlighted that Chong Hua Hospital, an affiliate of BDCFI, has long been a reliable partner of the barangay.

The barangay and beneficiaries shared their appreciation for the assistance extended to them, recognizing it as a meaningful step toward recovery and a source of immediate relief as they start to rebuild their homes.
