Chong Hua Hospital Leaders Reinforce Commitment to Cybersecurity Awareness
In celebration of Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2025, Chong Hua Hospital conducted a Security Awareness Training for Leaders on October 30, 2025, at the 12th Floor Auditorium, Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue.
Organized by the Enterprise Information & Technology Division of Chong Hua Hospital, the session aimed to strengthen the hospital’s cybersecurity posture and highlight the importance of vigilance, accountability, and proactive leadership in safeguarding digital assets. Leaders received practical insights on addressing emerging cyber threats, promoting secure online practices, and cultivating a culture of awareness across all departments.
The event featured Mr. Johnny A. Calbario, Associate Principal at SGV & Co., as the resource speaker. Drawing from his expertise in information security and risk management, Mr. Calbario shared strategies for identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective security measures to protect the hospital’s information systems.
The training emphasized that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility—one that begins with awareness and is strengthened by collaboration and continuous learning. Through this initiative, Chong Hua Hospital reaffirms its commitment to maintaining a secure, resilient, and trustworthy digital environment for its patients, staff, and the entire hospital community.
