releases linens to all PCU\u2019s and special care units per the Request Slip.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Verifies the details on the Daily Monitoring Sheet report with regards to the number of soiled linens picked up by the washing facility versus the clean linens delivered \/ returned to the hospital by the washing facility.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><p>Collects soiled linens from covered carts from the hampers located at the soiled linen room \/ utility room of PCU\u2019s in the different floors of the hospital per the designated schedule.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Transports soiled linen to the linen segregation area, and grossly soiled linen in yellow liners to decontamination for processing.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Carries out the sorting, counting, and bundling of soiled linens in time for the laundry provider to collect and transport them to the washing facility.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Regularly cleans soiled linen carts using the appropriate disinfectant.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Observes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment when carrying out duties.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Checks maintenance requirements in the linen room, linen segregation and informs the Environmental Services \/ Maintenance
